Set within the grounds of their home at Mile Hill Barn and opened in March 2015 the gallery houses the work of Terry Jeffrey who has been working professionally in oil and watercolour since 1984.
Most of the paintings shown reflect his interest in the imagery of the landscape of East Anglia where he has worked and lived all of his life. He has also enjoyed working on the continent and paintings of Venice, Florence and Seville may also be seen.
Some of his paintings have been reproduced using the Giclee technique, which results in a colour fast print of very high resolution. Printed on acid free watercolour paper these prints are limited to 100 copies or less.
Terry has exhibited in many galleries including the Royal Watercolour Society Open at the Banskside Gallery, London, The John Russell Gallery, Ipswich (one man show), Southwell Brown Gallery, Richmond, The Gallery, Moulsham Sreet, Chelmsford, Shakespeare House Gallery, Dedham, East of England Open, Kings Lynn, Beecroft Gallery, Southend and The Minories, Colchester.
A great many commissions have been produced over the years and include Lockwood Calendars, 40 Field Artillery, Anglian Regiment, Eastern Electricity, Milsoms Le Talbooth Trust House Forte. and the Artist and Illustrators Magazine, along with many private clients.
